Luxury Nail Lacquers from Giorgio Armani

Oh Giorgio Armani, you have done it again! These nail lacquers are a recent addition to the many fabulous products offered by the brand. And like everything else, they just ooze luxury.

While the bottles may look a little small but they pack a hell of punch.

They have a very glossy finish, that transforms to a gel texture before drying. They are also extremely fast drying and as they are so pigmented you only really need one coat. There's nothing worse then sitting around waiting for your nails to dry.  I usually forget I'm waiting for them to dry and start typing  and ruin all of my hard work, so its great to just pop on one coat and then your good to go.

If your feeling reckless, you can skip applying a top coat as it's integrated into the formula. The brush has longer and thinner than other brushes so you can cover the whole nail surface in just one stroke. The whole application progress of applying polish is just so much easier and quicker.

There are three different ranges of colours in this new collection and a total of 18 shades to choose from:

Acqua's - there are 5 varying shades of the blue to choose from. I have 702 Kaleidoscope* which is almost like a ocean blue, the pearlescent sheen off the colours is just gorgeous. It really reminds me of the mother of pearl tea cups that my Nana has in her press. It's a very elegant colour, and very easy to wear. It would really pop against that LBD or party outfit as it adds a subtle colour.

Reds - the reds are the statement colours of the collection, while they have an oriental inspiration, they are perfect for this festive season. I have 503 Eccentrico* a true bright red. I've never had a colour last on my nails without chipping as long as this one. It lasted a full 6 day before chipping.

Beiges - these are the perfect colours, if your not looking for a lot of colour. There is a nude shade to suit most tastes. I have 102 Second Skin*, which does what it says on the tin and gives a pale effect to the nails. This is great for those mani days that you don't really know what you want.

The Nail Lacquers retail at €24 per bottle so they are on the higher end of the price tag but if your looking to splurge these are just the ticket. You can pick them up from most Brown Thomas counters around the country.

Will you be adding these nail lacquers to your wish list this Christmas?
